I had my annual board meeting with myself yesterday.
This year, I convened on a stump by the frozen lake in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
I watched ducks, swans, and seagulls swim in a melted section along the other side of the lake. They took turns flying in groups above the water, over the ice, and back to the surface. It was overcast, but occasionally the sun broke through, warming me and lighting up the ice.
I kept asking “When will you thaw?” No one answered . . .
But I think the thaw is coming.
Hopefully, in this year of the tiger. ❤️
On the way home, I saw something in the snow . . .
